Until now, with our mentors and training, we have supported the knowledge, experience and vision of female executives who can be Board Member in companies. Yaşargil also stated that they do not stop until they see enough women on Boards. Yaşargil ended her speech by thanking the mentors with whom they walked together on this journey and congratulated the mentees of the 3rd Term Mentees.

Journalist and producer Tuluhan Tekelioğlu, who was the moderator of the ceremony, drew attention to the current data on this subject. She stated that the most fundamental difference observed in the business world is "Achievement is a need for men and a desire for women". She also emphasized that WOB Turkey has made a very significant point by making success, not a desire for women but a necessity.

About Women on Board Turkey Association:

WOB Turkey was founded by Hande Yaşargil and Burçak Güven in 2012 as the first organization that works to increase diversity and women's representation in executive boards in our country.

On January 16, 2017, we changed our status to an association and expanded our activities, and we started to take important steps towards institutionalization.
